RealPage Says DOJ Closes Criminal Probe Into Rental Unit Pricing

RealPage Inc said the US Department of Justice has closed its criminal investigation into pricing practices in the multifamily rental housing industry.

RealPage said it “extensively cooperated” in the probe and remained steadfast in its belief that it didn’t violate antitrust laws, according to a statement on its website on Friday.

The company will “continue to aggressively defend itself in the remaining, previously filed civil lawsuits,” it added.
