RealPage Reaches Settlement With Nevada in Rent Collusion Case

RealPage Inc. inked a deal with the state of Nevada to head off a lawsuit claiming that its AI-powered software enables apartment managers to collude on rent prices.

Under the deal announced Sept. 19, Real Page will pay $200,000 to fund rental assistance and related programs in Nevada; maintain an antitrust compliance program with training for revenue management personnel; and accept restrictions on how it can use nonpublic data.
