A federal judge granted an eyewear retailer its request to amend its antitrust claims against the US arm of global eyewear firm
Judge Douglas R. Cole of the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in a Wednesday order gave plaintiff Brave Optical 30 days to expand on its antitrust claims against Luxottica of America Inc., a dominant player in the US vision insurance market that also owns eyewear outlets across the country.
Luxottica had objected, arguing the claims were time-barred.
