A Nevada federal judge allowed a wage-fixing case brought by a sheepherder to proceed against the Western Range Association, concluding the agricultural organization isn’t entitled to antitrust immunity.
Chief Judge Miranda M. Du of the US District Court for the District of Nevada on Aug. 8 denied the association’s motion to dismiss, marking the second time she nixed WRA’s arguments that it was immune from Sherman Act liability.
