Prosus CEO Calls EU Antitrust Rule on Delivery Hero ‘Absurd’

Prosus NVbranded an EU antitrust demand to sell about $3 billion of its Delivery Hero SE stake “absurd” as the tech giant lines up $10 billion in new investment for e-commerce and payments.

“This is a big mistake for Europe,” Chief Executive Officer Fabricio Bloisi said in an interview Tuesday on Bloomberg Television at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “Europe should be talking about how I invest more and faster, but actually we are talking about how I divest faster. I think this is absurd.”
