Preston Hollow Hits Nuveen With Antitrust Claims (Corrected)

Preston Hollow Capital LLC hit rival Nuveen LLC and the head of its municipal bond business with antitrust claims in Manhattan federal court Monday, about 15 weeks after a Delaware judge hearing similar claims refused to issue an injunction, saying Preston Hollow should have sought money damages instead.

“As a burgeoning contender in the high-yield municipal bond market, Preston Hollow poses a direct threat,” the new lawsuit says, so John V. Miller decided to put it out of business through a campaign of “threatening and anti-competitive communications” aimed at the broker-dealers it relies on.
