Pentagon Presented Its View on Aerojet-Lockheed Deal to FTC

Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks sent a one-page letter with the Pentagon’s view on the Aerojet-Lockheed Martin proposed deal to Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan earlier this month, according to a U.S. official who declined to disclose the Pentagon’s recommendation.

  • Lockheed CEO James Taiclet said on earnings call Tuesday that the proposed deal “continues moving moving through the regulatory approval process and we now anticipate closing in the first quarter of 2022”
