PayCargo LLC has accused CargoSprint LLC and its chief executive of using their warehouse-pickup-logistics software to monopolize payment processing services for cargo shippers and freight carriers.
Although CargoSprint touts its ability to integrate competing payment systems into its freight pickup platform, the company “coerces” shippers and carriers that rely on the “SprintPass” to use its “SprintPay” processing software as well, the lawsuit claims.
“Tying” those two products together violates antitrust laws, especially because “there are no technical barriers to integration,” according to the complaint.
