The Pac-12 Conference and Mountain West Conference reached a deal to resolve antitrust claims that MWC saddled the Pac-12 with a financial penalty that limited its ability to recruit and accept new member schools.
Details of the settlement weren’t disclosed. Five schools at the center of the dispute also signed on to the deal, according to a joint statement.
“The Parties have informed the Court that they have reached a settlement in principle,” Magistrate Judge Susan van Keulen said in a text order Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
