P&O and DFDS have been sent statements of objections by French antitrust regulators over possibly unlawful capacity-sharing agreements to allocate road-haulage customers on the Dover-Calais route.
- France’s Autorite de la Concurrence says in Thursday press release that the statements of objections were sent this week
- DFDS said it will cooperate with French authorities and provide all required documentation
- “We believe that the agreement will cut down waiting times for our customers and reduce queues in the ports”
- P&O declined to comment
