Otter Tail reached settlements and agreed to pay $73.5 million to resolve two of three class actions in the PVC Pipe Antitrust Litigation pending in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
- The company’s subsidiaries agreed to pay $39.5 million to Direct Purchasers
- They also agreed to pay $34 million to Non-Converter Seller Purchasers
- The settlements are subject to preliminary and final court approval
- Claims by the End-User Class remain pending against the company
- Otter Tail said it will use available cash to fund payments
