Opana Class Action Order Fixed Up After Swift Reversal on Appeal

Endo International Plc and Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc. unit Impax Laboratories again face a class action antitrust trial over prescription pain reliever Opana ER, after a federal judge in Chicago clarified the case’s contours in response to an appeals court ruling.

Judge Harry D. Leinenweber amended his class certification decision Tuesday, about a month after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit sent the case back to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois over concerns about the scope of his original ruling in June.
