Oakland, Calif., will ask the Ninth Circuit to reinstate antitrust claims against the NFL and its teams over the relocation of the Raiders football team to Las Vegas, according to a notice of appeal filed in the Northern District of California.
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California dismissed the claims April 30 because thecity hadn’t shown an antitrust injury.
The court previously dismissed Oakland’s claims in July 2019 but allowed the city to file an amended complaint.
