Oakland, Calif., can’t proceed with a suit challenging the Oakland Raiders’ move to Las Vegas for now, the Northern District of California said.
But the city can file an amended complaint no later than Sept. 9, the court said.
The court dismissed the city’s claims that the Raiders and the National Football League violated antitrust laws. The city’s breach of contract claims also fail, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said July 25.
