NFL, Fanatics Get Amazon Merchandise Product Sales Case Tossed

The National Football League and licensing partner Fanatics Inc. escaped an antitrust case accusing them of monopolizing product sales through Amazon.com Inc.'s online platform, after a federal judge ruled the plaintiff failed to allege antitrust injury.

The ruling frees the NFL, its teams, and Fanatics from a suit brought in 2022 by merchandise business Casey’s Distributing Inc., which alleged the organizations conspired to exclude it from selling NFL licensed goods on Amazon’s marketplace.
