NCAA Athletes’ Win in Pay-to-Play Fight Upheld by Appeals Court

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals concludes federal judge in Oakland, California, reached correct result when she concluded last year that the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s rules regarding compensation violate federal antitrust law and said that athletes may be compensated for education-related expenses beyond current caps.
