Nationwide Conspiracy Claims OK’d in Generic Drug Pricing Case

The country’s top makers of generic drugs must face a multidistrict lawsuit alleging a nationwide scheme to fix prices, rig bids, and allocate markets through “fair share” agreements, a federal judge ruled.

The consolidated antitrust suit, which grew out of a Department of Justice investigation, targets Actavis Holdco Inc., Endo International PLC, Mylan Inc., Sandoz Inc., Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc., and dozens of other drug companies.
