NASCAR continues to face antitrust claims that it abuses its dominance in the stock-car racing industry, as a federal judge denied the organization’s efforts to end a case brought by a racing team owned by NBA Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
Judge Kenneth D. Bell of the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina in a Friday order denied NASCAR’s motion to dismiss, saying that legal questions in the case will be left for a jury to decide.
