Motherson, Tata Are Said to Vie for Forvia’s Interiors Unit (1)

Indian car-parts makers Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. and Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd. are among suitors pursuing Forvia SE’s vehicle interiors unit, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Private equity firms including Apollo Global Management Inc. and FountainVest Partners have also been evaluating the business, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is private. Paris-listed Forvia kicked off the process last month and is now preparing to invite second-round offers, the people said.
