Nine management companies for manufactured homes are facing an antitrust suit alleging they conspired to raise the rental price of mobile home lots across more than 150 locations throughout the US.
Plaintiffs Carla Hajek and Gregory Hammerlund, two renters of manufactured home lots, claimed Datacomp Appraisal Systems Inc., which provides information on the mobile home market, and the management companies violated antitrust laws by agreeing to exchanging competitively sensitive information that resulted in higher rental prices for the lots.
