Microsoft, Video Gamers End Lawsuit Over Activision Blizzard Buy

Microsoft Corp. and a group of video gamer plaintiffs have settled an antitrust case brought two years ago that sought to block the tech giant’s completed $69 billion deal to purchase Activision Blizzard Inc.

The company and the gamers on Monday filed a motion to drop the case with prejudice in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, with each party paying its own legal fees. A Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement the parties “have resolved the litigation.”
