Mexico Antitrust Body Finds Probable Collusion in Diaper Market

Mexico’s antitrust commission Cofece has issued summons to “diverse” companies and individuals after finding “evidence of probable collusion” to rig the market for cellulose hygiene goods such as diapers and feminine products.

  • Cofece said in a statement it found evidence of absolute monopoly practices that may include manipulating prices, restricting or limiting supply or demand, dividing markets, arranging bids in tenders, as well as exchanging information with any of the above objectives
