Meta Faces Antitrust Accusations in French Online Ads Case (1)

France’s antitrust regulator said it notified Meta Platforms Inc. of a potential violation of competition rules relating to the online advertising sector.

“Meta is accused of abusing its dominant position by limiting access to partnerships for ad verification services on ad inventories sold by the group, under conditions that are not transparent, objective or non-discriminatory,” the regulator said Wednesday in a statement on its website.
