Meta Must Face Rival Startup’s Antitrust Lawsuit After Appeal

Meta Platforms Inc. will face antitrust claims alleging it forced a social media photo-video startup out of business, after the Second Circuit reversed a lower court ruling that dismissed the case.

A US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit panel in a Tuesday ruling vacated a district court decision that held the defunct social media app Phhhoto waited too long to sue Meta under the Sherman Act’s four-year statute of limitations.
