Maynard Group Accused of Online Traffic School Conspiracy

The Maynard Group Inc. was hit with an antitrust lawsuit accusing it of leading a conspiracy to monopolize the market for California online traffic schools by registering hundreds of fake ones.

The telecom is conspiring with several other online traffic school owners to drive lower-priced rivals out of the market by flooding it with “alter-ego proxy schools” registered to the same address as their existing operations, according to the July 1 court filing.
