Mars, Kellanova Optimistic They’ll Resolve EU Review of Deal (1)

Mars Inc. and Kellanova are expecting a positive resolution of a review of the companies’ proposed deal by European Union regulators, according to a filing from Kellanova on Wednesday.

Kellanova said that the European Commission announced an investigation into the tie-up on June 25.

“The company and Mars remain optimistic that this investigation will be positively resolved and that antitrust approval from the European Commission will be obtained,” Kellanova said.
