MLS Property Information Network Inc. got final approval of a $3.95 million litigation settlement with plaintiffs who accused it of inflating real estate commission fees.
The deal frees one of the largest home listing services in the US from a case brought in 2020 when home seller plaintiffs in Massachusetts alleged that MLS PIN imposed anticompetitive rules, including that a seller offer to pay the commission of the real estate buyer’s broker.
