The Las Vegas Review-Journal, once owned by the late casino magnate and GOP donor Sheldon Adelson, will have to continue printing a rival newspaper while a federal judge reviews their joint operating agreement in a high-stakes media markets case.
The ruling Thursday from Judge Anne R. Traum of the US District Court for the District of Nevada preserves the status quo, blocking the Review-Journal from ending its agreement with the left-leaning Las Vegas Sun while the broader dispute is litigated.
