Know Your Judge: Sheridan Has Lengthy Wyeth, Teva Generics Case

This week in Know Your Judge, we check in with U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey Judge Peter G. Sheridan, who recently took senior status but is still juggling a full docket until the district can get some more jurists onboard.

Sheridan is in his fifth year managing a consolidated action alleging that Wyeth Inc. (now part of Pfizer Inc.) conspired with Teva Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. to stifle competition for blockbuster psychiatric drug Effexor XR. The action, In re Effexor XR Antitrust Litigation, consists of nine cases.
