Judge Nixes Live Nation Bid to Move US Antitrust Case Out of NY

A US antitrust case against Live Nation Entertainment Inc. and Ticketmaster will remain in New York federal court, a judge ruled, rejecting the defendants’ claims that a consent decree stemming from their 2010 merger required moving the case to Washington, D.C.

The Justice Department and nearly 30 states in May sued Live Nation, seeking to force it to sell off ticketing giant Ticketmaster.
