JPMorgan Says Trump’s ‘Blacklist’ Argument ‘Makes No Sense’ (1)

JPMorgan Chase & Co.said President Donald Trump’s argument that his alleged 2021 blacklisting by Jamie Dimon justifies suing the bank in Florida “makes no sense.”

The bank, which is seeking to move Trump’s “debanking” suit to Manhattan federal court, responded Monday night to the president’s push to keep the case in Florida. Trump contends the allegation against the bank’s chief executive officer means account agreements requiring disputes to be litigated in New York don’t apply.

“To be clear, defendants are not aware of any supposed blacklist, so defendants can only proceed based on plaintiffs’ vague and conclusory allegations,” ...
