Jeld-Wen Sued by Investor Claiming It Hid Price-Fix Scheme (1)

Jeld-Wen Inc. and its private equity backers at Onex Corp. were hit with a securities lawsuit in Virginia federal court claiming they concealed the door maker’s reliance on a price-fixing scheme at the heart of multiple antitrust cases.

The earlier suits allege a conspiracy between Jeld-Wen and Masonite Corp., its top competitor in the interior molded door market. Like the shareholder suit, they were filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
