Jeld-Wen, Masonite Get Nod for $61 Million Antitrust Settlement

Antitrust litigation against Jeld-Wen Inc. and Masonite Corp. over their alleged scheme to fix door prices crept closer to a conclusion, when a federal judge in Virginia approved a $61.6 million settlement between the companies and the construction contractors leading part of the case.

Judge John A. Gibney gave his blessing late Thursday to the deal resolving class action claims on behalf of “direct purchasers” in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
