An Iowa marketing agency convinced a federal judge to toss three of six claims in a lawsuit alleging it stole trade secrets to create a pirated version of a marketing platform.
Judge Damon R. Leichty dismissed Cirrus ABS Corp.'s theft and conversion, unfair competition, and tortious interference claims against Strategic America Inc. in an order and opinion filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Leichty refused to throw out Cirrus’ claim Strategic America misappropriated trade secrets.
