India Fines United Breweries, Carlsberg Over Cartelization

India’s antitrust regulator asked United Breweries Ltd. to pay a fine of 7.5 billion rupees ($102 million) and Carlsberg India Pvt. to pay 1.2 billion rupees as it issued a verdict against three beer companies for indulging in cartelization in the sale and supply of beer in various states.
