Illinois Hockey Association Slapped With Antitrust Suit

The body that governs organized amateur hockey in Illinois conspires with four Tier I teams to keep other hockey clubs out of the market, a complaint filed Feb. 21 alleges.

The Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois Inc. “has become so corrupted by its ‘boy’s club’ leadership” that it doesn’t serve young players anymore, the Reapers Hockey Association Inc. alleges.
