IFF Reaches $11 Million Settlement in Fragrance Price-Fixing Case

New York-based International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. inked an $11 million deal to settle claims by end-user plaintiffs who allege the firm conspired to raise prices for fragrance ingredients and compounds sold in the US.

The plaintiffs’ request for preliminary approval of the settlement was filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey. It comes after IFF last year reached a $26 million settlement with a separate group of direct purchaser plaintiffs.
