British Airways parent IAG SA offered five daily slot pairs at London’s Gatwick airport on Dublin and Belfast routes to win European Union approval to acquire Irish carrier Aer Lingus Group Plc.
IAG also committed to ensure that Aer Lingus passengers will continue to connect passengers to rival carriers’ long-haul flights out of London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Amsterdam, Shannon and Dublin airports, the European Commission said in a statement.
