Hyatt, Hilton Win Suit As Court Rejects AI Price-Fixing Claims

Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Inc. convinced a federal judge to dismiss claims they conspired to fix hotel room prices through a shared pricing algorithm.

The ruling adds to evolving but mixed case law on whether the use of price-setting software among competitors is tantamount to price-fixing.
