HPE-Juniper Merger to Face Additional Scrutiny, Judge Rules

A federal judge ruled Tuesday that a group of state attorneys general can seek more information about a controversial settlement between Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. and the Justice Department to resolve antitrust concerns about its purchase of Juniper Networks Inc.

The decision by Judge P. Casey Pitts may require the Trump administration to offer additional justifications for why it agreed to resolve the case.
