Hospital Merger Disclosure Fight With FTC Moved to Louisiana

A Louisiana hospital convinced a federal judge to transfer the Federal Trade Commission’s lawsuit over the hospital’s merger disclosures to a court in the state, giving it potential home field advantage.

Transferring the suit to the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana serves the public interest, Judge Amy Berman Jackson said in a Tuesday order granting the hospital’s request to move the case.
