HILL TECH BRIEF: Workers Must Have Voice in AI, Schumer Says

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) emerged from a closed-door forum with business and labor leaders with “some degree of optimism” about artificial intelligence’s potential to benefit workers, rather than hurt them.

The AI deployment process would need to involve workers and provide them with the necessary training to adapt to the technology, Schumer said.
