Hedge Fund Ends Challenge to Bristow Group’s Era Inc. Deal Price

Bristow Group Inc. has reached a confidential agreement resolving litigation brought by a hedge fund challenging the price of its merger with Era Inc., a rival helicopter fleet operator, according to a Delaware Chancery Court filing.

The stipulation disclosing the agreement, jointly docketed Tuesday by Bristow and Funicular Fund LP, doesn’t include any settlement terms. Attorneys for both sides didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday.

The hedge fund’s petition, filed in October, asked Vice Chancellor Paul A. Fioravanti to determine the fair price of its involuntary buyout. The transaction in June 2020 technically made Bristow a subsidiary of ...
