Hapvida and Intermedica Get Final Antitrust Approval for Merger

Brazil antitrust regulator known as Cade issued a final decision approving the merger between Hapvida and Intermedica without remedies, both companies said in filings.

• Closing of the transaction is expected to take place early in February
• Intermedica said it will work with Hapvida to set up a schedule for steps to be completed until the closing of the deal
