Google’s Proposals on Ad Tech Antitrust Compliance Tested by EU

The EuropeanCommission is seeking industry feedback on Google’s offer to fix alleged antitrust violations linked to its ad tech business that sparked a fine of nearly €3 billion ($3.5 billion).

The move toward a so-called market test could pave the way for an end to any further antitrust proceedings — if customers and rivals give positive comments on what EU competition chief Teresa Ribera has called a “serious” offer from the Alphabet Inc. unit.
