Google’s $32 Billion Bid to Buy Wiz Gets EU Merger Probe

Google’s deal to buy cybersecurity firm Wiz Inc. for $32 billion faces a review from the European Union’s merger regulator.

• EU set a Feb. 10 deadline to decide whether to approve the deal or open an in-depth investigation, according to a website filing
• European Commission says on website that the deal was notified for approval on Jan. 6
• Deal has been approved by US and Saudi Arabia antitrust authorities.
