Google Executives to Be Deposed in Texas Ad Tech Monopoly Case

Three executives of Alphabet’s Google Inc. will be deposed in a case accusing the company of anticompetitive conduct in the display advertising markets.

Judge Sean D. Jordan of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas late last week denied in part Google’s motion for a protective order to prohibit a group of plaintiff states from deposing company CEO Sundar Pichai, Google co-founder Sergey Brin and Neal Mohan, CEO of Google subsidiary YouTube.
