Google Ad Tech Antitrust Fight With States Sent Back to Texas

A Texas federal court is set to hear an antitrust lawsuit brought by a group of state attorneys general over Google’s dominance of advertising technology, an appeals court ruled, in a win for the states.

A panel of US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit judges released the order sending the case to Texas Wednesday, just a day after hearing oral arguments in the matter. Alphabet Inc.'s Google in June appealed to the circuit court a ruling that sent the case back to Texas made by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.
