Goldman Sachs & Co. and State Street Bank & Trust Co. must continue to face litigation over an alleged scheme to rig foreign currency transactions through the Currenex trading platform after a federal judge ruled in favor of the plaintiffs on most of their claims.
The plaintiffs, Edmar Financial Co. and Irish Blue & Gold Inc., have presented plausible claims of a vertical conspiracy under Section 1 of the Sherman Act, said Judge Lewis A. Kaplan of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York in a Thursday ruling.
