GN, Plantronics Settle Headset Suit Before Retrial Over Emails

Phone headset maker Plantronics Inc. settled an antitrust challenge by GN Netcom Inc. to its exclusive distributor program, ending the case before a planned retrial over claims that Plantronic executives deleted tens of thousands of emails after being sued in Delaware federal court.

The joint filing disclosing the agreement, filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, didn’t make its terms public. Judge Leonard P. Stark dismissed the lawsuit the same day.
